Unique Banking Identification Project

Skye Bank Guinea participated on June 26, 2024, in the launch of the Single Bank Identification / Digital Interoperability IBU / IN project in Conakry. The main objectives of this project include improving access to financial services, regional financial integration, digital transformation, and increased customer protection. The project will benefit Guinea, Gambia, Liberia and Sierra Leone by facilitating financial inclusion, strengthening financial integrity and attracting investors. Skye Bank Guinea is fully committed to this initiative which promises to create a lasting impact and improve the global competitiveness of the region. The Single Bank Identification / Digital Interoperability IBU / IN project is financed by the African Development Bank (AfDB) and led by the West African Monetary Institute (WAMI). This project aims to strengthen financial inclusion and the efficiency of the financial sector in the West African Monetary Zone (WAMZ).
